Kleinman & Kleinman, PLC is an AV rated firm that has been exclusively handling personal injury and wrongful death cases throughout the state of Arizona since 1970. Jan Kleinman is “certified by the State Bar of Arizona as a specialists in Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation.”
Partners Jan Kleinman and Kortni Kleinman, have over 50 years of combined experience in cases involving injuries or death resulting from automobile, motorcycle, bicycle, pedestrian and public transportation accidents, dog attack and bite cases, and premises liability cases. Although we regularly handle cases involving catastrophic injuries such as traumatic brain injuries, spinal/neurological injuries, traumatic amputations, and death, we welcome all cases involving minor injuries as well.

Kleinman & Kleinman, PLC law firm does not advertise. All clients we represent come to us on referrals, primarily on the recommendation of former clients whom we have represented over the past 50 years. Additionally, clients are referred to this firm by many physicians in Arizona, as well as by insurance claims adjusters but most notably on the recommendation of other attorneys (including attorneys whom this firm has litigated against in the past).

Jan Kleinman

Jan Kleinman is the founding member of the law firm of Kleinman & Kleinman, PLC. Mr. Kleinman obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Business from Arizona State University in 1966. He continued on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arizona College of Law in 1969. He has devoted over forty (50) years in the law practice to representing those injured at the hands of others. He actively litigates cases and has represented more than 7,500 clients, including many third-generation clients. Mr. Kleinman has been involved in many multi-million dollar cases.

In addition, he is a member of the Association of Arizona Trial Lawyers and is one of the few attorneys in Arizona who has been certified in personal injury and wrongful death since 1991, when the original certification process was first established. Of the 7,500 personal injury attorneys in Arizona, only approximately 200 are certified. Additionally, Mr. Kleinman is rated AV Preeminent with Martindale-Hubbell. This is the highest rating that can be conferred upon an individual attorney or law firm. The “AV” designation shows that a lawyer has reached the height of professional excellence, skill, and integrity. Mr. Kleinman resides in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife of over forty (40) years.  They have three children and two grandchildren.

Kortni L. Kleinman

Partner Kortni L. Kleinman has been with the firm since 2007 and became a partner in 2020. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and graduated from Brophy Prep High School in 1992. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Emphasis and Speech; with a minor in Business at the University of San Diego in 1997. Mr. Kortni Kleinman then attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California and earned his Juris Doctorate in 2000. Prior to joining Kleinman & Kleinman, PLC, Kortni owned a small real estate company. He is a member of the State of Arizona bar. He coaches high school baseball and basketball and is an avid animal rights advocate.
